Enjoy a creative and relaxing afternoon at JB Arts in downtown Almonte as you let your imagination flow in a step-by-step turtle painting class. You’ll explore fun techniques with acrylics and take home your own finished piece — no experience necessary, and all materials are provided.
Create your own turtle-inspired painting in a fun, step-by-step class guided by local artist Donna Naprstek. Enjoy a welcoming, easygoing atmosphere — no experience is needed, and all art supplies are provided. Donna has been painting with watercolours and acrylics for over 30 years and has taught classes in Carleton Place and Revelstoke, BC. She finds joy in using art to connect people with nature and to support turtle conservation.
The session also features guest speaker David Seburn, freshwater turtle specialist at the Canadian Wildlife Federation. David has more than 25 years of experience in reptile and amphibian conservation and was recognized with the Blue Racer Award from the Canadian Herpetological Society for his significant contributions to Canadian herpetology.
